Kerry Heimann

Kerry Heimann holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in organ performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently a doctoral candidate in harpsichord and early music under the tutelage of Charlotte Mattax.

A widely sought-after accompanist, performance pianist and conductor, Kerry Heimann has participated in conferences for such organizations as the American Choral Directors Association, the Society for Seventeenth Century Music and the American Institute of Organbuilders.  In 2003, Mr. Heimann served as the director for the Central Illinois Children’s Choir.  He has toured previously with The American Boychoir, first in 2001 under the direction of former Litton-Lodal Music Director James Litton, and again in 2003 under the direction of then Associate Music Director, Fernando Malvar-Ruiz.  In 2004, Mr. Heimann formally joined the music staff of The American Boychoir School as accompanist during Mr. Malvar’s first season as Litton-Lodal Music Director   This is Kerry Heimann’s third season as Accompanist of The American Boychoir.
